Our Providers

Dr. Reardon received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and did post-graduate work at Harvard University. She completed her medical school and residency training at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Reardon is board certified in internal medicine and joined our practice in 1995. She is married and has two children. Dr. Reardon accepts a limited number of new patients but is unable to serve additional Medicare beneficiaries at this time.

Dr. Rosenberg is board certified in both cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine. She completed her MD at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and her EdD in exercise physiology at West Virginia University. She joined our practice in July 1997, following an internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at UNC-Chapel Hill. In August of 2000 Dr. Rosenberg was named a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology. Her interests include treatment and prevention of heart failure, hypertension, preventive cardiology and exercise in heart disease. Her hobbies include hiking, writing, reading and performing with her dog Casper on the Orange County APS Drill Team. Dr. Rosenberg accepts new cardiology patients by referral only.

Dr. Mort Malkin received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at San Diego and his Medical Degree from the Chicago Medical School. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut and a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Rochester. Before joining our practice in 2000, Dr. Malkin was in private practice in Ohio and had been an Attending Physician in the GI/Hepatology Department at the University of Rochestor. Dr. Malkin is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He is married with two children. Dr. Malkin accepts new gastroenterology patients by referral.

Dr. Brothers was born in Nashville, Tennessee and grew up in Los Angeles, California. He is married with three children, and has lived in the Durham/Chapel Hill community since 1979. Dr. Brothers earned his BA from Brown University and his MD from Tufts University. His medical residency was served at Boston City Hospital, after which he completed a fellowship in rheumatology at UNC. He is board certified in both internal medicine and rheumatology. He is a past chairman of the Board of Trustees of Durham Regional Hospital. Dr. Brothers accepts all new rheumatology patients by referral. In addition, he accepts a limited number of new internal medicine patients but is unable to provide primary care services to Medicare beneficiaries at this time.

Dr. Hartman joined Chapel Hill Internal Medicine in 2001. She attended college at the University of Virginia, medical school at the West Virginia School of Medicine and did her internal medicine training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Hartman is board certified in internal medicine. She lives in Chatham County with her husband and son. Dr. Hartman accepts a limited number of new patients but is unable to add Medicare beneficiaries at this time.

Dr. Krasovich joined us after completing the residency program at UNC-Chapel Hill. A native of Wisconsin, she completed her undergraduate degree at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and her MD at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Krasovich lives in Chapel Hill with her husband and their two daughters. She is interested in all aspects of internal medicine, including women's health issues. She is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Krasovich is accepting new patients but is currently unable to serve additional Medicare beneficiaries.

Dr. Julia Tang received both her Baccalaureate and Medical Degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill. She joined our practice in 2006, after completing her Fellowship in Gastroenterology at UNC–Chapel Hill. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Tang was born in Hong Kong, and since she was seven years old, has lived in North Carolina. Dr. Tang accepts new gastroenterology patients by referral.

Dr. Granger received his medical training at Washington University in St. Louis and at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and completed a research fellowship in Cardiology. Dr. Granger joins us after 13 years in private practice in Siler City, N.C. In addition, Dr. Granger has worked with UNC-Chapel Hill in training Internal Medicine residents, including some of our own physicians. Dr. Granger accepts a limited number of new patients, but is unable to serve additional Medicare beneficiaries at this time.

Dr. Powell-Tillman joined our practice in October 2008. She completed her medical degree and residency at UNC-Chapel Hill, and has practiced for the last six years in Chatham and Wake Counties. Dr. Powell-Tillman is board certified in Internal Medicine. She resides in Durham with her husband and son. Dr. Powell-Tillman is pleased to welcome new patients.

Sarah Saunders is a Certified Physician Assistant. She joined our practice in May 2008 following six years serving primary care patients in Mebane and Burlington. Ms. Saunders completed a BS in Biology at UNC-Chapel Hill and received a Masters in Health Sciences from Duke University’s Physician Assistant Program in primary care medical groups. She lives in Mebane with her husband and two children. Ms. Saunders is an integral part of our Cardiology service, working closely with Dr. Beth Rosenberg to provide diagnostic and follow-up care to patients with heart disease. In addition, Ms. Saunders works with our Internal Medicine physicians to provide same-day acute care services to their patients.
